3rd part of the ancient cycle.

The story of the rock opera Antigone rising from the depths of the mysterious ancient brings two basic story lines - the theme of generational rebellion and literally the theme of love beyond the grave.

Concert premiere 20. 12. 2006 in the Congress centre in Prague.

ABOUT THE OPERA

The story set in the ancient times has two main motives - the rebellion of a strong woman and the love beyond life and death.

Two brothers, both crown princes, murder each other in a fight and their evil uncle uses the situation to gain power. The brave Antigone confronts him as he rules in the atmosphere filled with fear. Antigone rebels against senseless orders, refuses to be the submissive woman and wife everyone expects her to be and fights for her right to choose her fate.
